Ochiltree County Road U from Hwy 83 east to Lake Fryer will be closed from May 10, 2023, thru June 2023 due to bridge construction. Work on removing and replacing the Wolf Creek tributary bridge on County Road (CR) U in Ochiltree County will require drivers to follow the TXDOT marked detour from US 83 east on FM 2711 to CR 24 then south to Wolf Creek County Park and Lake Fryer on CR-U. The marked detour and alternate routes are shown on the map below.
